With modular construction the critical element is to build the size of your modules to suit your access on siteTypically any limiting factors or restrictirons will mainly be apparent in the last mile or few miles from the nearest two lane road and any lanes or similar aound site that have to be worked around. No matter how bad the access we have a diverse fleet of lorries, plant and machinery and a ‘can-do’ attitude. There is always a solution!
We manufacture in a range of common widths and heights to suit various limits – typical widths being 2.4m , 3.0m and 3,6m wide (8, 10 and 12 foot respectively).

Our mission in establishing this business was to provide technically superior, warm, comfortable homes at a far lower upfront cost that cost an absolute minimum ongoing cost to heat and maintain.
To achieve this, we partnered up with Innovate UK, South West College and set out on a structured, in-depth research & development programme, known as a Knowledge Transfer Partnership, to develop what we believe to be the ultimate in high-performance homes – efficiency and stringent quality control in manufacture, energy efficiency, low energy demand and the highest insulation performance. Items which are typically only achieved with a relatively high cost.
We wanted to provide this highly insulated home with low energy use performance while keeping costs as low as possible—in this way, we felt we could make the biggest positive impact on changing how homes are built.
Critical issues to ensuring a warm, comfortable home come from maximising insulation and avoiding thermal bridging.
Without paying very close attention to both these points, it is impossible to provide an optimally performing building envelope.

Through our unique FastRoom™ system, we reinvented the way homes are built.
Our fast room system uses punched metal plate fasteners (also known as Gangnail Plates), which have been in use since `956 to manufacture roof trusses and engineered floor joists
We take this time-proven technology and simply apply it to a ‘whole house frame’ (floor, ceiling, roof, and walls) all in one portal frame matching the section of the building.
These portal frames are then spread out at 400mm or 600mm centres to create the required length of building.

A warm, highly insulated building is essential not just to reduce annual heating bills, reliance on fossil fuels, and environmental impact but also because it makes financial sense. A little extra spent initially (for example, on insulation) will be recouped many times across the building’s lifespan.
